Family and Friends, plus delicious food and stunning scenery

How fabulous to  spend the weekend with my two best friends in Switzerland and also David. Of course, Marco ( right)and I had had lots of great times during the week, but we were both thrilled to see Dennis back in the Engadine again. Selfie king (17,000 selfies), so some brilliant photos!
We used to go to the tiny neighbouring hamlet of Susauna frequently many years ago, but then the little cafe there closed.
Now a very special and unique pop-up cafe has opened up in the field of the last house in the village. Fabulous! It's very basic, but the food and scenery is great!
We were also lucky enough to see this amazing rainbow just above us.
In the evening, after a fantastic walk around the Silvaplaner See in the afternoon, it was time for another delicious pizza at La Punt. I couldn't help noticing this magnificent reflection in a parked car's window - The Mizzen mountain. P
Next day the eating continued at Hotel Hauser. Every Sunday during the jazz festival they have a massive brunch on their terrace. What a feast we had whilst enjoying some fantastic music.
David joined us in the afternoon for a gentle, yet lovely walk around the St Moritzersee. The colours were stunning and, with surprisingly few people on the path, it was a really pleasant stroll.
All along the banks of the lake the wild flowers contrast wonderfully with the turquoise waters and the blue skies.
Finally, a farewell drink at one of my favourite spots near the lake. The bar has been cleverly built from pallets. I love the idea.
Time to say ' bye' to Dennis after a fun-filled weekend.
Next day, it was my turn to say ' goodbye' to my cosy little wine barrel, my home for the previous week. What a superb week that was! I'll be back! Hopefully.
