Ogmore and Rossilli. farewell to Wales for a while

Sprained ankles, several with COVID and general coughs and colds didn't stop a wonderful final week with family in Wales.
What an unexpected and fabulous trip Ceri and I had with Mabli at Ogmore.
My last day out with Ceri was to my favourite place, Rossilli. It's a fairly long journey, but absolutely worth it.
We had a fantastic meal, as did some lucky dogs I guess.
The stunning coastline is even more incredible with a herd of horses with very young foals in the foreground!

I have great memories of camping by this vast stretch of pristine sand.
Worm's Head! Not a name I find very attractive, but it is a fantastic peninsula. Not far along the views are lovely looking past the wonderful stone walls to the bay. We sat and enjoyed watching a family of seals in the waves near the beach. What a gorgeous sky!
The entire coastline here is breathtakingly beautiful, with walks along the West coast Way.
A field of rape, so bright wewere virtually dazzled by it.
A final farewell for now to my sister Annie, who sadly couldn't join us for the day as she was laid low with COVID. Still, we could at least catch up in her churchyard garden, brimming with vegetable seedlings and wild flowers.
Nice to know I will be back again in August.
Four fabulous weeks catching up with my ever-growing family!
