Coastal Wales and Llantwit Major mid June

,'How are you, alright? ''Lovely day today, isn't it? ''Nice apart from the cold wind, isn't it?  'These are undoubtedly the three most common greetings in Llantwit Major, none truly requiring an answer, but if you want to stop and enjoy listening to the beautiful Welsh accent, it's worth stopping and commenting.
Friendly people everywhere, all enjoying the sun, but not the temperature. For me, it's perfect. Dry, sunny and between 16-20 degrees.
The triangle in Llantwit Major is so pretty, with a picturesque and historic pub on each side!
Neighbourung Cowbridge, a rather upmarket town, has some pretty places too and buildings steeped in history, like the 18 th century prison we visited, but we actually went there for a special event, their Pride Parade.
The weather was perfect and I would say that the majority of the population of this small town were either in the parade or singing and waving at the roadside. It was great.
Next day we headed to a favourite beach, Ogmore on the Sea with little Spoodle Meek. We all thoroughly enjoyed the stony and sandy beach.
Personally, my favourite spot is the river mouth. Of course the colours of sea, clouds, river and grass were mesmerising!

A walk I really wanted to do was part of the Welsh coastal path, from Caswell Bay to The Mumbles. We chose a perfect day for it. Sunny, no wind and a very pleasant 20 degrees.
It's a great path, well-made, undulating but never too steep, with stunning views
Here you can see a good amount of it. Fantastic.
One of the prettiest bays was Langland Bay, a safe bathing beach with dozens of cute little changing sheds. If you are lucky, you might see seals on the adjacent rocks.
This would be one of the loveliest benches I have seen on any walk.
what a wonderful day out at the coast!
Back home, Peaches Daisy's spaniel demonstrated how to truly relax.
